Well, another season of TPIR comes to an end this week - and it's been an absolute blast! Drew has come such a long way in such a short time as the show's new host and I truly believe that he has done a fantastic job. He treats every contestant like they're family, he has a blast with the games (especially during Cliff Hangers and One Away), and I love his interaction with Rich and the models. I did have my doubts when he was initially chosen as Bob's successor, but now I know that he is comfortable in this kind of environment. Way to go, Drew!
We saw tons of great stuff this season - themed shows for Halloween, Christmas and the 4th of July, tons of funny moments (such as the now recent classic from June 27 where Rich messes up a prize copy), scores of great contestants, incredible wins and a fantastic string of Million Dollar Spectaculars where we saw not one, not two...but three new millionaires crowned! Adam, Michael and Cynthia - congrats once again.
But with all this joy comes a little sadness - we recently learned that a long-time friend and producer of the show, Roger Dobkowitz (who some of us affectionately refer to as "The Dob"), was let go from his position and is leaving the show after 36 years of loyal service. Us Loyal Friends and True wish him the very best in his future endeavors, and we at Golden-Road.net know The Dob will never be stopped!
All in all, a fabulous season nonetheless. Thank you to Drew, Rich and the entire TPIR cast and crew for a wonderful season this year and it should be interesting to see what Season 37 will hold for us
Till then...have a great summer!

A "Priceless" Blooper!
On today's episode of TPIR, the funniest thing happened during the fifth IUFB (I missed the show because I was in transit to work, but some of my pals over at G-R.net really wished I was in chat to see this). Watch the following video to see what I mean:
Believe me, I was laughing my head off!

It was the first primetime TPIR special with Drew as the new host, and I gotta say - the entire episode was amazing from start to finish! But none was more amazing than the way it ended, have a look:
You can't help but be thrilled for Adam, he was the show's first millionaire, the biggest winner in the history of CBS game shows, and he shattered a 3-year-old record for most winnings on any version of the show worldwide. All I can say is wow!
